We use to order spring rolls as a starter when we go to the restaurant with soup, but what we eat is being made of white flour or all purpose flour.
Moreover it is fried in oil to get it's crispiness in top. Which is not healthy at all.

Actually spring roll is a combination of vermicelli or noodles with vegetables like carrot, beans, onion and sauces.
To keep the fillings intact it is wrapped with the flat and thin pressed or flatten dough and fried in pan or tava.
Why wheat flour is better than all purpose flour.

Number of preparation can be done with whole wheat flour, but today we are going to make spring roll by using wheat flour instead of all purpose flour.
You can add to your snacks or you can eat any time in whole day.
Ingredients:
Whole wheat flour two cups
Vermicelli or noodles one cup
Onion chopped one
Soya sauce one spoon
Chilli sauce two spoon
Tomato sauce three spoon
Carrot fine chopped one
Beans fine chopped one
Capsicum chopped
Salt to taste
You have to get the dough ready for wrapping and fillings on the other hand.
Preparation:
First make the dough ready. Add salt to the wheat flour and knead adding water to a medium thick dough.
Your dough should not be too hard or too light. Add water according to requirement of dough.
Second part of the preparation is to make the spring roll fillings.
You can prepare two types of spring roll filling.
1. Vermicelli or semia filling.
2.Noodles filling.
Preparation for filling with vermicelli or semia.
Boil water add the vermicelli or semia to it. Let it boil to cook.
If cooked strain the water and wash it with normal water. After wash keep it in open air to dry.
Now heat oil in the pan. Add chopped onion.
Fry it, when half cooked add carrot,beans and capsicum.
Fry till you find all cooked then add Soya sauce, Tomato sauce and Chilli sauce.
Fry a little and mix the vermicelli or semia which has been cooked and kept aside.
Mix well and add salt to it as per quantity. Keep in mind that tomato sauce and chilli sauce will also have salt.
Fry all till you find it water less. So your filling will not spoil the dough.
Preparation with noodles.
Heat oil add chopped onion. Fry till it is half cooked.
Add carrot, beans and capsicum. Fry till half cooked.
Add water to the level where the noodles will be cooked and no water will be left.
Add the powder which is enclosed with the noodle packet.
Noodle mix powder contains salt so add very little salt.
Now put the noodles into the mixture water, let it boil and cook.
Your two types of fillings ready with the wheat flour dough to go for next preparation.
First start with dough. Make a round with little dough. Now make a oval shape roti or flat it with roller.
Flatten the dough to maximum thin to get your roll crispy. When you fry the thick one you won't get the crispy one.
Your flatten dough should complete with single roll only. If you flatten more and roll the stuffings, outer roll will get thick and you won't get a crispy fry.
Brush oil or spread oil on the flatten dough. This will help to roll it better and will cook while frying on tava or pan.
Now spread the fillings from one end to the other with much quantity.
Now roll from one side to other side parallel to the fillings or stuffing keeping inside the flatten dough.
By doing so you will get a stuffed roll which will go next for fry.
If you find it too long then cut it from centre. It will be easy to pick and place on tava or pan.
Heat tava or pan. Keep in the centre of pan the spring roll. Pour oil and shallow fry from all side.
Fry three to four rolls at a time to minimise the maximum heat to one roll.
When you find it to be crispy after fry take it out from the pan or tava.
You can cut into pieces or you can eat as a roll with any of the sauce.
Preparation for microwave oven or OTG.
Pre heat the oven in 150 degree. Now brush the tray with oil.
Place the roll after brushing oil or butter over it.
Cook in the microwave for ten minutes in 150 degree.
If you want to grill it in your OTG then pre heat with upper and lower heating element in 150 degree.
Brush the plate with oil or butter. Brush with butter or oil over the rolls and keep in the OTG to get baked for ten minutes.
If your rolls are not crispy you can try with 180 degree for another five minutes.
Your whole wheat spring roll with vermicelli or noodles ready to serve with sauce.
You can increase or decrease the ingredients as per your required head.
